Located at 58,000 light years away from Earth in the constellation of Coma Berenices, this cluster hosts about 500,000 stars in a gravitational bubble of about 220 light years of diameter. This image was taken with the IAC-80 telescope at Teide observatory (Tenerife, Spain) using three broadband filters known as Johnson B (blue channel), Johnson V (green channel) and Johnson R (red channel). Each filter had 3 exposures of 30 sec, for a total of 1.5 minute exposure per filter.
